Overview:
The Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing cybersecurity projects within scope, schedule, and budget. This role involves coordinating internal resources and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that support business objectives. • Project Planning & Execution
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations

• Provide ongoing direction and leadership to assigned project teams

• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure alignment between project goals and organizational priorities
• Manage expectations and resolve issues that may impact delivery
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management
• Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and mitigate risks using standard procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
Cybersecurity Knowledge:
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
Strong understanding of the correlation between risk, vulnerability, and exposure.
Ability to interpret vulnerability scan results and collaborate with teams for remediation.
Experience configuring and performing vulnerability scans In a corporate landscape
Understanding of risk reduction strategies
Understanding of change control and ITIL methodologies
Understanding of mitigation strategies.
Understanding of TCP/IP and Networking concepts
Awareness of industry best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls).
Strong technical skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
• Solid experience in Cyber Security project mgmt, with a focus on execution and delivery
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Ability to analyze problems and propose practical solutions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Project management experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools, processes, and lifecycle.
